Meanwell PCD-40-500B is 40W economical constant current LED Power Supply with 500mA45-80V±5.0%40W5.0Vp-p100V500ms/230VAC at full load. The item features 180~295VAC voltage input and 500mA output. By using leading edge or trailing edge TRIAC dimmer, the brightness of LED lamps can be adjusted to meet the needs of AC dimming applications in the LED lighting market. Since the work efficiency reaches high up to 88%, the unit can operate at -30°C ~50°C under natural air cooling. In addition, PCD-40-500B is designed with a single-stage PFC line to achieve high PF value (PF>0.9) in the most economical way, and meet the requirements of EU EN61000-3-2 for harmonic current Class C. What’s more, the body adopts 94V-0 fireproof grade plastic shell. With a two-wire input method ( ClassⅡ, no FG) and double insulation effect, it can effectively avoid the risk of electric shock. PCD-40-500B is equipped with protections such as built-in short circuit, over temperature and other functions, and has also passed ENEC EN61347-2-13, EN62384, CE and other lighting related certifications, which ensures the safety of product use. Meanwell has tested plenty of world-renowned brand TRIAC dimmers, all of which have a good match.
