Meanwell DDR-480B-12 is a 480W DIN Rail type DC-DC converter with 12V33.4A0-33.4a400.8W50.1A100mVp-p12-14V. The model adopts a thin rail type chassis design. The main features include easy installation of hanging rails, a face width of only 85.5mm, which greatly reduces the lack of space on the system end rail (TS-35/7.5 or 15), 2:1 wide voltage input, 4000Vdc input/output isolation (with reinforced insulation), -40~+80°C operating temperature, and 150% peak load capacity. At the same time, DDR-480B-12 can be paralleled to 1920W (3+1 units), 5G seismic resistance, and other excellent performance. Additionally, it passes IEC62368-1/UL62638-1, EN55032, EAC TP TC004 and railway EN50155 regulations, which is very suitable for use in railways, trams, MRT, buses and information networks, industrial automation, communication equipment and other industries or with AC/DC rail power supply integrated installation of aesthetic requirements.
What’s more, this series of models has input options: 16.8~33.6V and multiple output options: 12V/24V/48V. Suitable applications include DC buck/boost regulator, increasing system insulation level and voltage drop compensation along cable...etc.
After DDR-15/30/60/120/240 Series DIN rail DC/DC converters, Meanwell launches DDR-480 Series with 480W higher wattage, making DIN-rail DC/DC product line more complete. The design complies with the requirements of railway and industrial control information regulations, and therefore very fit for applications such as railway, industrial control, security control, and information and communication and other fields for DC/DC converter application requirements.
