CoxCommunications announced the trial of the company's new mobile phone service CoxMobile in three of its markets, telecompaper reported on August 31.
Eligible residents of Hampton Roads, Virginia, Omaha, Nebraska, and Las Vegas, who used to be limited to Cox Home Internet customers, can now use CoxMobile's flexible mobile phone plan options. The company plans to continue launching CoxMobile in its remaining markets for the remainder of the year. CoxMobile can help customers adapt to various lifestyles by offering two simple and high-speed data plans to choose from - Pay-As-You-Go and GigUnlimited.
With pay-as-you-go, customers pay only for the data they need, rather than overpaying for a one-size-fits-all plan. CoxMobile customers also have access to reliable 4G LTE and 5G coverage and the ability to stay connected at home with Cox Internet and over 4 million Cox mobile wifi hotspots.
