Fiberhome AN5516-01 is a hybrid central office equipment (OLT) designed and developed by Fiberhome for the high-speed, multi-service, and wide coverage requirements of next-generation optical networks. It is compatible with multiple optical access methods such as EPON, GPON and 10G PON, and meets FTTX. Various application scenarios require a new generation of large-capacity carrier-grade optical fiber access equipment.
Fiberhome AN5516-01 is positioned to the following applications : the central office equipment OLT in the FTTx solution, it is used in conjunction with the remote equipment ONU to support broadband services such as VoIP, TDM, IPTV, CATV and Internet access.

It supports the EPON function specified by the IEEE802.3ah-2005 standard, and strictly complies with the ITU-T G.984 series of standards; it has good interoperability, supports extended OAM functions, has good backward compatibility, and supports multiple types of ONUs, such as : SFU, box MDU (including LAN type and xDSL type), plug-in MDU and HGU type ONU, etc., provide large-capacity PON transmission bandwidth.
